1940 Ford 2dr Sedan Standard. It was originally black with probably black interior. At sometime the interior dash and trim was painted red. Originally it came with a 85hp flathead V8 with 3 on the tree. The motor is now missing. The transmission is still in the car but it is not original. It was replaced with a floor shift model from another 1940 Ford (from the VIN code on the top). The body is pretty straight but it rusted through at the bottom of the A and B pillars, rockers, and in the trunk. The good news is that every part for this car is currently being manufactured and you can buy the replacement sections and weld them in. Just takes patience and time. The door frames have alot of rot at the bottom and at the lower hinges. You can buy all of the lower sections of the doors online (frame and skins) and rebuild them or find two new doors. The gl*** is missing but the regulators are there. The frame is solid with no holes or weak spots from what I could see. The wishbone, etc is all there. The front clip and running boards are solid on this car. All four fenders do have shallow dings but they can be easily hammered out. Also the inner fender on the p***enger side is rusted through where the battery tray is. The headlight and taillight trim is there. Most of the interior trim around the windows is there and usuable. You may need to replace a piece or two. This is a 1940 Ford Standard. The front clip is NOT the same as a 1940 Ford Deluxe so keep that in mind if buying it for parts.
