I have been looking all over on the net trying to find a clutch release fork, any help/leads on finding one would be greatly appreciated
Is this the forged steel one? I buy from these guys a lot but the fork seems steep. I know Dorman makes one. Attached is a picture of the one I'm using. http://www.cl***icparts.com/1960-72-Clutch-Fork/productinfo/90-441/#.Vk90N02FNqY
the one shown at the link you provided look considerably different, the one I am looking for has the lever bent forward after it comes out of the bell housing
Way different. I looked at the site I referenced and didn't see it for your year truck. But there are lots of Chevy truck parts suppliers around.
All I have found is lots of suppliers unfortunately that don't carry that part, so I am wondering if anybody is producing it, or have others found a "work around" still using the stock linkage or some other linkage kit using a different fork
Here's a few. Doubt that anyone makes repros. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1947-1959-C...ash=item43e59f2013:g:U~8AAOSwwbdWOpQF&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/Clutch-Fork...ash=item4d3b61245d:g:WuMAAOSwWnFWBqgf&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/1955-56-57-...ash=item35f4e1bfb9:g:94EAAOSwI-BWLUTF&vxp=mtr
