Love for someone to photoshop some paint and wheels. I'm thinkin black.. big surprise huh. with moon disks or red wheels with whitewalls. Steer me obewan.

My current plan is to run a 292 in the car. I also have 2 235's but i'm thinking the 292 will be the final choice. Making my own headers, 6 into 3 and straight out the back. The roof is chopped 4". Without channeling the car we figured the geometry would be screwey going any more.

  10. SWEET! engine's even the "proper" color. Had a '29 Chev in highschool Brings back fond memories! It looks wonderful. There should be lots of old hop up parts for the 292. Old stock car guys! Good Luck with 'er!

  15. Looks Good. What did you do with the frontend, single or duel springs. Trying to get some ideas for my coupe.

You don't happen to have a picture of the frame only? I'm looking for a reference for the frame I got with my '32, want to make sure it's the correct frame.

I'll post a bunch more pics here shortly. OH by the way, only 5 ****** knuckles, what i failed to mention is that they bled for 6 months. :) I have to give a lot of credit to EJ Kowalski for this build. Without his expertise, this wouldn't have happened.

I like the (18 inch?) wire wheels. Any smoothy cap that will fit a period Ford wire should pop right into those if you can't find Chevy caps.

I will also be stripping the chrome from the radiator cowl and headlights. I've found out that they are actually br*** under the chrome. If anyone knows of a way, or a person that can strip the chrome, let me know. Thanks.

All the wood is still there. Some of it was reinforced a bit, but most of the car was very solid. I'm having a hard time deciding if i want to cover the wood with panels or just leave it exposed.
