1952-59 Ford tailgate hinge is stuck

I have a 56 tailgate with one hinge broken off but it can be welded back in place. The other hinge is so very stuck. What is the best way to free it up and ensure that it stays free? Currently it is soaking in rust remover for about a week. No change. The pin won't come out because it would hit the tailgate. I am stuck. The only good thing is that it'll not be put back on the car for months.

 

Try a little heat on it. That should loosen things up enough to get it apart.

Try 50% acetone/50% ATF. Best penetrating fluid ever
