I was wondering if anyone knows were I could get a set of spacers that don't cost an arm and a leg? I need them so I can run the 327 covers with my roller rockers and screw in studs. Any help would be great.

The only place I currently know of is the dreaded Ebay. I just scored a pair off there a couple of months ago. They show up occasionally and it depends on when the auction ends that determins how much they go for.

seems a guy could make something with a bit of 1/8" x 1/2" or however tall you need it steel strap, and a few pieces of small tubing, and a vice, and a wire feed welder....but maybe that home fabrication stuff is not trad enough?

Before I go tryin to make some I just might try grafting the 327 covers(minus the flange)to a set of cheap plain tall stamped steel covers.

Cheaper to buy tall valve covers, works much better also.

yup, but it's a bit hard to find tall valve covers that look like original 327 valve covers. They're quite distinctive...

Check with P.A.W. (Performance Automotive Warehouse) They have a "House" brand for most things that are significantly cheaper than "Name" brands. Free shipping too.
