Hello everyone, I'm new to the HAMB and cars in general. I just picked up a 52 Pontiac Chieftain from a good friend and am planning a mild custom. I have a LOT to learn, I really appreciate all of the information shared so freely in this site. Here she is. I'm planning to lower her a bit, remove the muffler, replace the interior (hopefully entirely made by me) and just enjoy driving her around. Thanks all.
Welcome, don't know if your are aware of the cruise nites they have there in Morris but there is one on this coming Saturday. I'm sure you can meet some like minded people there and get plenty of ideas. September 12th & 13th is Jalopy Fest at the Grundy County Fairgrounds plus the car show & swap meet at the chemical plant on October 11th is another don't miss event. Hope to see you around somewhere. Looks like a very nice car to start your dreams with.
