Here is mine. The black one is mine, and the red one is my dads. Dad's has a 440 in it, and I chose a 402 Chevrolet. The 33/34 mopar is the most beautiful flat-top coupe. No doubt!
Not mine but i also liberated this pic of the same coupe that madpole posted from a thread on here a while back. I think the owner said it was 426 Wedge powered. Bad***!
My dad bought the car in '93 from an old guy in a small mining town in Arizona. It had been sitting for years. Lots of people had asked to buy over the years but my dad was the only lucky one the guy said yes to. My dad put some paint on it then it sat for another 15 years. The original drivetrain has since been replaced with the 354 Hemi, Torqueflight, and 9" Ford rear. Kept the original IFS but put lowered spindles up front and disc brakes all around. I can't wait to get it on the road. <table style="width: auto;"><tbody><tr><td></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family: arial,sans-serif; font-size: 11px; text-align: right;">From 34 plymouth</td></tr></tbody></table> <table style="width: auto;"><tbody><tr><td></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family: arial,sans-serif; font-size: 11px; text-align: right;">From 34 plymouth</td></tr></tbody></table>
Mines somewhere in the garage - I really need to drag it out and have more fun with it again. '34 - 392 - push****on - 8-3/4 3.91
sure like them plymouth pictures my is a 1933 coupe it has been a old drag car way back in the 60s I like them a lot more than the ford but they ar nice to thanks for the pictures guys
I am not a fan of plymouths but appreciate any properly done mopar resto rod. This is one of the nicer ones I have seen.(wrong headlights and stands) This one isn't a coupe but nicely done.
Still gathering pieces. 33 Plymouth body, 34 DB grill shell, custom grill. 331 Chrysler Hemi. 16" skinny wheels, 40ish Plymouth hubcaps. Looking for 33-34 Mopar frame, prefer 33 but either DB or Ply of either year will do. It is sitting on a 25 DB frame just for mock up.Will be tube front axle with buggy spring. Also looking for adapter plates for extended block 331 to Mopar A-833 4 speed. This has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid, figured if I was gonna do one I better hurry up!
Build thread for this 33. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/uncle-ricks-33-plymouth-project.680682/
