I recently got this pale oil pressure gauge to my '33 Ford standard roadster as it match the og gauges pretty well.

The gauge is a Motometer 2-5/8" Backmount, very similar looking to Auburn/Hupmobile/Studebaker gauges.

I wonder if anyone have stumble across these gauges before and know what they are from? Car? Boat?
I've seen some with black face but never any pale ones.

  2. Airplane? Something that one would have to monitor with a minimum of ambient light.

120lb is pretty high...most motometer 2 5/8" oil gauges I'm aware of are 50lb, 75lb and 100lb. The 50lb and 75lb are in my collection and the picture of the 100lb is from a pretty rare Marmon V-16. The 2 3/8" amperes gauges with white backgrounds float to the surface on occasion but I've never figured what their original applications were. My best guess is a boat or maybe even a stationary piece of equipment?

Ok cool. Yes it is scaled pretty high for its age. Would be really neat to know what this gauge came out of.
