For sale I have a 1955 chevy rearend for sale. It is NOT a posi (open rear). I don't know the gear ratio. Rear is 60 inches wide. Besides the cut parking brake cables it is complete (has brakes). Comes with leaf springs, but no u bolts or mounting plates. I have the drums, just not pictured. One of the axel seals is leaking. Will need to be gone through. Is a direct replacement for chevrolet 1955, 1956, and 1957 stock rearend. Can be used to convert your 1949 1950 1951 1952 1953 1954 chevy to open drive line as it will bolt right onto the leaf springs. Great for old school rat rod. Asking $200.00 for the rear. Will entertain offers. Willing to trade for a 1954 chevy / gmc first series truck rear (6 lug open drive line) or a center section from a 55 - 59 truck rear. Email me if interested.
