There's a guy who pretty much has the run of his own town about an hour and a half East of KC. Baker something-or-other?

Probably the closest shop to Kansas City who would build the style of car I like anyway.

We meet up every now and then.......I will PM you my phone number. Also, if you want to learn a little. There is the "Age and Treachery" breakfast meeting at Sharps in Brookside, lots of BS'ing and a very diverse group of car guys (aka:SCCA racers, hotrodders, and just plain ole' BS'ers).

Wayne Kemig at Redneck in Lanexa can build anything you want.

Buster...hook me up on that deal the next time you have one. I need to stay motivated on this Merc. The winter and work have kicked my *** in the motivation department.

I also have the hook up on a great shop out in Manhattan KS. Little bit of a drive...but reasonable because it is all college kids working. Taking my Merc out there for media blasting this weekend.

Hey downed, how bout you tell us a little about yourself & you autos! It`s standard operating procedure here and it will keep the ''intro police'' off you back! There are some pretty good shops here in Topeka also like Rod Meeks. Welcome to the board!
