what i started with . glad to help on this one so he can get it on the road . He was over his head on the metal work so i took charge !
first was the visor much better gotta make it solid before the patch goes in patch was with the car and was in usable shape . and finished off made up a new quarter patch all installed and made a cowl patch . notice how much curve they have . also never curve the part witht the bead . it should stay straight while the panel curves . always see em when folks used shrinker/stretcher on the bottom break to curve the panel fit is important mmmmmm cut it all out and start fresh ended up being made from 3 pieces ...all made in shop die to make the bead both sides done
quarter patch i made more pullmax dies ready to smash metal made the floor pans up front and the trans tunnel .toe board is not my work . clutch and m/c cover rear area i made up . gas tank access etc few more things to go and shes ready to head home !
Good save and nice work. That was some scary looking stuff. I could be wrong but that may be the coupe Ray Charles was learning to weld on.
More of the quality panel work we have come to expect from you. If you ever need a holiday, come in down my way. The panel guys in my town are a joke. Most who could do this work stand around gas Baggin to their friends all day, then have the cheek to charge rediculous prices. Edit: read, working holiday, haha.
Flop That was some ugly **** you started with. It's looking good now. I use those magnets out of hard drives too, they have serious holding power.
