that's no lie. that's beautifully done. guys's work looks like some of the best pencilling I've seen post Will Eisner. speaking of pencil, your Ford looks smooth and lovely, Tim.

Jeff, we should put together some kind of Art Fitzpatrick gallery for the art show one of these days. he's Godhead. for those of you who don't know his name or work, he did an astounding job on GM ads between '60 and '70 or thereabouts.

I've got some things I can't post before publication so I have to hold off on 'em. this I dug up from last, what, October's R+C. part Pierson Bros. coupe, part- ech- Zipp coupe. that was the assignment...

  3. Hey...the story wasn't THAT bad! ;)
I thought the chain gangs, drag races and knife fights I put were cool. Too much reality and not enough poodle skirts I guess.
    On with today's show...

Cool Art Show again, but that has become pretty much expected, eh? Thought I'd clutter it up a little with my latest Desk Top Art Work rendition. This one is # 75 in the series. It is my rendition of a "C" cab delivery truck hot rod. It is 9 1/2" long, 4 1/2" wide, and about 4 1/4" high. This ordered Art Work is heading for Florida.

Hey, thanks, coming from you that means a lot.

The C cab came out real good. Wouldn't of ever thought of doing one before I was asked to! Just never occured to me. Some of my little cars come out real well, some probably shouldn't see the light of day...Those 50s and 60s cars are a pita to do.

Gene, this C Cab turned out exactly as I expected. I imagined it in bare metal and you hit the nail on the head. You should do more of these custom rod types, you are truely great at it. Ever see that T-Bucket with the German Helmet, wonder how that would turn out? Here are a few famous models made by Tom Daniel.

But that inspires me - I got ideas running out of my ears thanks to that.

...just wish I had some paints around here.

Love the consistent quality guys (and ladies). Pat's-on-the-back deserved all around.

Nice art. I like the graphic novel panels. I know I would buy a hot rod graphic novel
