Can anyone help me with a map of the river locations for 33/34 frame please? Please include a note of which are flat / domed and nut/bolt (front X member)? Thanks
Where the inner X meets the side rails, on the top of the rail, the back 4 rivets are countersunk flat heads, and on the front 4, the rear one is countersunk flat head , front one is round head. At least they were and are again on my '33 pickup frame, and were on a '33 passenger frame I had.
Not sure I totally understand your question, so i'll answer both I think it may be. The 6 ones that are on the top rail, that have a countersunk top, joining the X have round heads on the underside. The rivets in the bottom rail are round head on both ends of them. The transmission saddle uses 1/4" round heads. I bought all my NOS Ford rivets from Roy Nacewicz
345, I live just above Clarkston off of M15 if you'd like to lay eyes on a stock 34' frame. -Kirk 810-499-7375
I also have two stock frames, one on car and another bare. Live in the Tri-City (bay, sag. Midland) area if that might be closer. Flip 989-832-2536
