How about a wooden 32 roadster. CL in Portland for 75 big ones. Hand built from myrtle wood. ***led & street legal. I have no interest or connection. Just admire the workman ship & hours that went into this one.

I was thinking the same thing. Wouldn't the wooden pistons burn up before the break in is over?

  9. I will step up and say I don't like it. I hope he finds a buyer but it is definitely not me. It looks like a lot of excellent woodwork but the time should have been spent building furniture.

Yes, Larry Andersen is talented, that car has been a regular at many NW events for years.
I challenge anyone to spend some time looking this car over and still say they aren't impressed with it, not just the craftsmanship, but also the dimensional accuracy.
I also have no connecton to this car, but the asking price seems like a bargain to me.
    Check this out.

EDIT... Says no video, still a good read, click the blue Vimeo box.

That thing was on Barrett Jackson or Me*** a while back. Thought it did not sell? Seems like an answer to a question nobody asked? Great work, but why?

Im with ya there. Theres just some things you shouldnt do. If a guy was going to take the time and effort why not just build a real woodie.

  16. I am with you there 100%. I like real woodies including those where a few liberties have been taken.

Cause that's not what he wanted, apparently.

He's got the woodworking chops to build anything he wants and the craftsmanship looks fantastic. Not that I'd WANT it but I admire the hell out of it.
