Damned if I can't find any of it in paint! Brandy should be along shortly with hers.

Mine is a 4 door post, but you said 55 poncho. I'll edit it when I find pics of what it looks like now.

Dave...I was never more embarrassed than when I told him that he 'could sit on my bumper anytime' ! The grin on his (and his grandsons) faces! I was ready to lock myself in the trunk.

I didn't care for the design, but I am a fan of the sparkle and color. Too many stripes going the length of the car for my taste. KWIM? Just imagine this in my driveway!

 

Not as we're used to see them... Anyone know whats the deal with this one? Canadian fenders with a US made grill or what?

It's been on before. But you did ask for 55's.

 

Absolutely one of the coolest GM bodystyles ever created in the 50's! Done right, a 55' Poncho Safari Wagon is as nice as a lotta' 55 Chevy Nomads! I've had a couple of Nomads, ( 56 & 57 ) but woulda' GLADLY settled for a Pontiac version of that body stamp. Good Luck in your future endeavors!
