I used a Wise guys leather covered bench in my Dearborn Deuce. The seat was well built, comfortable and the upholstery was first rate.

They may be fine for the end user, but not worth a shit for the upholstery guy.....I've done 2 of them and they suck as far as making a nice looking cover.

I have a friend that ordered one from wiseguys for his 35 Ford coupe. It was a complete seat with upholstery. The upholstery was terrible, he sent it back and had them redo it. It came back and didn't look much better than the first attempt. He was so disappointed he just gave up and it is still sitting in his basement. He never installed it in the car because he hates the way it looks. I offered him $250 for it and he gave me the evil look, so there it sits.

I've been very disappointed with the quality of Glide seats. I'd go with Wiseguys.

I have a glide seat in my 32, I like the comfort and the function of having adjustable seat tracks, and seat back along with having room under the seat bottom that flips forward.

We put a Tea's seat in the 29 roadster I built for my dad. Fits great in the car and super nice quality. That was almost 10 years ago but still looks brand new.

I had to make one of the mount brackets offset to place the seats where I wanted them.

I have a Wiseguy in my 1st '55 Chev PU, had a couple of problems w/upholstery - had a hard time getting them to respond until I asked NSRA to intervene - very quick response to send it back. Had a Ts split seat in my '33 Outlaw coupe, not bad but put a Glide in my '34 Roadster - love it - would buy another.

Contact Bengels. He's on here and made a very nice seat for me.

  26. I have the Glide seat in my 36 pickup. It's comfortable and I like the flip forward feature. I put the fuse box under the seat, it's easy to access and there is storage room for my stuff under the seat as well. Recommended.

I second Bengels... You get what you want, high quality and super easy to deal with.
