I know someone who organizes and runs estate and garage sales for people, and she said this new house she's doing had a lot of old rat fink toys, and a board game? also there was a bunch of really early pedal cars like around 1915-ish? so my question is has anyone ever seen a rat fink boardgame? how much is any of the toys worth, and prices for some of the pedal cars?
Post pics and I can tell you about the pedalcars. Some of my ratfink stuff is here, http://www.kaparich.homestead.com/rothkits.html and I'm pretty well up on the older RF stuff so if you can send me pics I can prolly help out.
I have a mint Brother Rat Fink on the bike unbuilt.I've thought of selling it but I'd like to know what it's worth.Like so many models I have, I didn't build them because of their rarity only to see them repro'd. Anyone know the value of this kit? -Strat.
To my knowledge the Brother Rat Fink is one of the ones that has not been reissued...yet. Ive seen um on ebay every now and then and they are pretty pricey. Id be interested if you decide to sell it, HAMBers discount of course ;-)
I say some rat fink toys at the Autorama in Dallas last weekend. They were made in 2000 and were selling for 15 bucks each in the box.
To the best of my knowledge, Ed never licensed a board game...in most of these cases, the person selling commonly refers to all monster/car type toys as "Rat Fink"....the Hawk company released an immense line of Weird-Ohs models, masks, puzzles, albums, decals, trading cards, board games, and more merch- these often mistakenly fall into the RF category by non-collectors.... Brother Rat Fink was re-released in Mexico(Lodela) and Japan but not by Revell yet domestically..... Hope this helps...prices are best compared by surfing ebay- the market is alot more flooded since the net , and prices are a fraction of what they were even 8 years ago....mint stuff always holds desireability for big bucks collectors,though...
