I want to convert my manual brakes to power brakes (drum/drum) on my 54 chevy handyman. I want to locate the master cylinder/booster on the firewall. What size of booster is recommended, 7 or 8 " to make it work propperly ? Is there also enough space if I want a dual carb set up . Tnx for advising me

If you have the room use the larger one and maybe a vacuum storage tank. Gary

235 has plenty of vac for power brakes, i had an 8in booster for my disc/drum set up. i ran it off of the the intake manifold connection for the wipers and added a plastic tee to split off for the wiper motor, now depending on how well your wiper motor works will dictate if this will work for you. if your wiper works great and freely you should be ok running both from the single port. if it wont run them both you could drill the carb spacer and add a ****** in it to grab some vacuum like i mentioned on the pcv thread.
