Well it has been a shitty month.
My wife's grandma died just before thanksgiving. Her stepdad had a stroke the Friday before thanksgiving. My grandma passed away last Friday and I had my knee replacement done on Monday. Now it is on to rehab that is why I hadn't been on here lately.

 

I'm truly sorry for your losses. That's a lot to deal with at one time. On a brighter note, you've gotten the knee replacement out of the way. Keep focused on the rehab and you'll see that life can be good again.

Wondered where you were Enloe - sorry to hear about your loss. We'll go get a sandwich at Maxwell St that will ease the pain some.

Well I hobbled my gimpy ass out into the garage for the 1st time today. My truck was dead and I had to get it on the battery charger on it so my wife could take it and get the battery changed as it was still under warranty.
Soon I will be back under the Corvette

 

Do your physical therapy it hurts but is needed to get the new knee up to speed.

 

I heard that doing it about 4 times a day

 

Enloe , how's the PT going ? Thinking of you today while I was under the truck and hit my knee . Cussed for a short bit , then thought I'm better of than Enloe in that department . Say hi to the kids and get well sone . Blue

 

its all going well. PT 4 times a day still can't get but about 80 degrees of bend on my own. it someone pushes on it we get around 90. I will keep on keeping on. About 150 days till Bowling Green you going this year?

 

I hope so , time will tell . Will let you as time gets closer . Trying to finish my COE this summer, wife is getting itchy over her 59 . Blue

Well got out in the garage yesterday. I decided that since I was going to have to put a new heater core in the vette that I had just as well put a new water pump on it.

I started trying to take it off and one of the bolts holding the clutch fan has the head stripped. I had to take the alternator loose and the upper radiator hose also.

HOORAY! I got it out .

Today was my second day being able to go all day without using a cane.

I am doing therapy 5 times a day total and I go to a place 3 days a week and they do 1 therapy session there with me that lasts an hour and a half (HOLY HELL IT IS A BITCH)

On a side note My daughter made the All Star basket ball team and my son has regional wrestling tournament.
If he comes in at least 3rd he will be qualified for State. There are 4 people in his weight class of 160.

I also want to thank all of my friends on here who have contacted me and also posted their comments on here I really appreciate you guys and gals.

Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to do some more.

I don't know if any of you guys are coming to Paradise in Calhoun Georgia tomorrow or not but we will be there with a booth set up.
I loaded up the truck last night. I have just a few things to load tonight then it is off in the A.M.

 

It has been a while since I bought any aluminum valve covers and I am having withdrawal.
