It's official. The Peter Beater will be at Cobo for Autorama next weekend.
Drove it for the 1st time with the new headers and cowl steering last night. Still have some tweaking to do to the steering box mount but it drives. The new headers rule. Felt real good to fire it up and go. I just went up and down the drive a few times but damn, I'm hooked again!
Big ol thanks to 29RAT (Chris) and Old Retired Dude Terry Sims. They made the steering possible with some fantastic macine work and TIG welding.
I lengthened my pitman arm w/a Flathead connecting rod so it looks right. A
