I've had lots of PMs about getting pictures. Had it at the Dallas Autorama last weekend and getting the bugs out for the Roundup. This thing is a blast to drive! I'll take the feedback... Good and bad... '55 331 Chrysler Hemi. '59 Buick brakes. 4 Stromberg 97s (Thanks Uncle Max!) on a Weiand WC245intake. Gas tank is from a US Navy target drone. Original paint. Fag bag suspension, front and rear.
you should see were this thing is at... its about gonna take a helicopter to get it out.. but for free, you really cant bitch... any parts left over from your int??? like another hemi or bed, tires/wheels/frame/??? you know, the little stuff???

Hey mark8040, I checked out your truck at the Dallas AutoRama and I liked it, bags and all. It sure sounded good when you drove in Thursday during set up. Cool truck!
Umm Bad? i would be hard pressed to find anything bad on that ride! Very kool nice stance, great motor choice.
Mark cool little truck..how do you drive it with the grill on the ground?? Breeder..you have a 4 wheeler all you need is a small trailer and battery sawsall to get it out! LOL
You're kiddin' right? Running on about 5 cylinders? Weak battery, overcharging alternator, 2nd time it had been started since we finished it? Worked alot of the bugs out already and got it running ALOT better. Thanks for the props. --Mark
I saw you were having issues getting it started Sunday night. Glad to hear your working the bugs out. I probably see you at the Round Up.

Yea, issues. It ran alot better when we got it home and put some gas in the tank! Loaded it with a solid sheet of ice on the trailer. That's one night I'll never forget.
Don't sweat trying to save the original frame. We didn't use much of it and what we did use got hacked. I've bought a '36 without the frame and we're just going to fab one from scratch. Hey, at least go get that radiator shell!
Here is mine. It's got a 330 Desoto hemi in it in the pictures (ok so the hemi is on an engine stand facing the wrong direction but now your just knit picking) In reality it's getting a 360 dodge, a cheap running complete 360/727 I might add. Thanks again Steve, hope to see you in Detroit.
The weather did suck! I left out of there Sunday with no heater/defrosters and wipers. I froze my ass off---I have to get my heater hooked up.
DID THAT TODAY.. I WENT TO GRAB IT TO SEE WHERE THE BOLT WERE AND IT FELL OVER!!! ON THE WAY HOM I GOT THIS 29 COWL FROM A FRIEND AT THE ROCK SHOP..IT WAS ON AN OLD DRAG LINE HIS DAD HAD... It's bolted on. The beauty of the fag bags... Throw a switch and put 'er on the ground. When you're ready to go just pump 'em up.
Thanks for the pics Mark,Nice truck--I really like the natural rake of the IH cab. I've got a ton & 1/2 and thought of a car hauler but you can't argue with the looks of a lowered & rodded one.If anyone knows where to find the serial plate let me know--It's a 34 or 35-- I thought I had an unusual truck now I find a lot of you have one and we all seem to have a Hemi too--Go figure
Did I see cup holders, Mark?? Comon!!! Just kidding, very nice 'binder. Junkman, the two places that I know to find the VIN is 1. Passenger side splash pan on the outside just above where the running board meets the front finder and 2. Driver side frame rail, outside in front (not on top) just before the downward slope.
After looking at the interior pics I noticed the pedals--did they come out of a catalog??? By the way what size are the wheels and tires?
