Only recently mounted the Lokar shifter, adding the Kilt Lifter tapper handle from Four Peaks Brewery (it's an Arizona thing).

I always have to visit Four Peaks when I go back to Arizona to visit family. A little bit of family necessitates a lot of Kilt Lifter.

I remember when I was in Junior High School Wood Shop. We were all making shifter knobs (not that anyone was anywhere near close to owning a car age, out of fibergl*** resin; this was probably shorty after fibergl*** came out, at least it seems that long ago. We used X-Mas tree ornaments as molds, and broke them away once the fibergl*** cured. You could put all kinds of sharps into the resin, hypodermic needles, barb wire, razor blades, fasteners, or just about anything really. Many of these knobs are pretty cool. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Made these for a brewery in Austin. Hand sculpted, molded, and cast here in the shop. Shifter handles were water jet cut. Don't hold a candle to most of these on this thread.

I used to work as a field engineer for flow waterjet! I miss having access to those machines. You can really make some cool stuff on them.

One of my "hooks" will be what shift knob is on it when I go somewhere. Current selection, and yes the grenade is real:
