Technical Chevy Taillights

I have an idea of putting taillight lenses from either a 1960 or 1963 Impala on my 1963 Mercury Marauder. But I don't know if they will fit the housings.
Anybody here that by any chance can tell me the diameter on the lens and the distance between the mountingholes on the two lenses ?
My Merc lens i 3 3/4" O.D and 3 1/4" between the holes

 

The 1960 loose lens I have is 3 3/4" but 3 1/2" between the holes. Gary
