New member from Mississippi I'm 17 years old and I've been working on a senior project with my dad since I was in the 8th grade. Which is a 31' Ford Coupe. All I've gotten for my birthday and Christmas since I was 13 or so was parts and during the summers I busted it to help pay for the big stuff. I'm using a 1958 model 283 power Pak with 3 deuces. I'm currently getting the gas tank mounted on the brooksville deuce ch***is. I'm hoping to get it ***embled (for the time being) by March. Feel free to give me advice because I'm green!
Looks great young man,I'm looking forward to watching you build the Model A into a running driving car. BTW,it appears you have vision that far surp***es your years. HRP
Super cool. I am 20 and I am working on a very similar project by myself; a 30 coupe but I am going flathead. The frame and body looks like a good dream build quality- you are doing the build right! Looks like a late fifties or sixties build style, or what were you going for? One of these days I'll have my ride looking like yours. Can't wait, good job and welcome. Start a build thread.
Needless to say my dad is of course helping me in this project but I do all I can do and learn a little more along the way. This has been the best learning experience I've ever had.
[UPFATE] alright so we've got plenty of progress done on the car I've just been lazy haha but they're just small details this is the most recognizable progress which is the interior. Just simple dodge van seats and old mechanical Stuart Warner gauges and the old steering wheel off my dads deuce. When I get the money up I'll get myself some nice upholstery and interior.
