(The '60 Biscayne is "my other car", photo taken couple of years ago, this year it looks like there will be no White Christmas in the central Finland, unfortunately)

I'm glad that even though I didn't post your name you found this post, and that makes me happy inside!
This is the real Christmas spirit.

 

The best part with christmas is the decorations.
My meals taste alot better with this on the table.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL FROM SOUTH LOUISIANA

Merry Christmas Y'all from Kentucky.

 

T'wer a little more than a week left to this year,
and all I got finished was a **** ton o'beer,
and some blend that comes in them little purple bags,
hunnerds of empty boxes and a huge stack of mags.

I got the flatty mounted and the quick change do dangle,
and I learn't from my H.A.M.B.ers all about pinion angles,
I got pie crusts up front and cheaters in back,
so its sittin on all fours and not on the jack.

The body showed up from American Speed,
and I thunk to myself "I got all that I need".
Within weeks - wallet empty, my account? zeros showin,
cards all ma**ed out and the list just keeps growin.

Then I come up with a brilliant idear,
'tirement accounts for old guys I got nuttin to fear.
Ill hit it fer enough without tellin the old lady,
and I figure pay it back by the time that I'm eighty.

Bought a radiator from Br*** Works and a grill from Bob Drake,
but still no ***embly for the clutch or the brake.
A polished tilt column makes for an easy escape,
and its hung nicely from the dash by strips of duct tape.

I cant git nuttin accomplished with a head full of rocks,
then I cut a nice dash to install a glove box.
Measure twice, cut once seems... a bit of a fuss,
'tho having my gauge insert fit would have been a nice plus.

Nothin on my car is a hunner'd percent done,
but the time I wasted try'n was nuttin but fun.
Maybe next year I will finish this build,
my neighbors, grief counselor and my wife would be thrilled.

Now Summit, now Speedway, now Craigslist and SoCal
now Limeworks, now Jegg's, on Visa and Pay Pal.
From your warehouse to my door in less than week,
bring me the boxes with the parts that I seek.

If you can hear me over the square cut gears in the ***,
and the Navarro blown flatty when I'm makin my p***,
