I knew someone would give me shit about the cup holders... CaddyRat, it was a pretty easy cut. Popped the cap off and cut down the sides mostly. Didn't want to change the angle of the A pillars so we added 3/4" to the length of the top. About 3 1/2" cut. With these IH's you'll run out of windshield before you run out of headroom when you chop it. Wheels are 17". 700's on the rear and 525/550's on the front in the pictures. I've got a set of 600's coming for the front to get a little more clearance when it's aired up.
Not too far OT : I 've been collectin pix of cars in my neighborhood that are the "Orphans" . I'm gonnaa approach the property owners or car owners to see if they are willing to talk. On of my favorites is the IH Orchard truck down the road from me. I'm interested in an ID of it: Any trucks this vintage and size been used as far as using the cab and nose? - - Another "Orphan"- More AT: http://photobucket.com/albums/v296/Powerband/ORPHAN%20CARS%20IN%20MY%20NEIGHBORHOOD/? Mark 8040 - SWEET! I have a '35 sittin' in a million pieces waiting for me. But I'm finishing a '64 Chev P.U. Lowered 12 inches, shortened bed (1 ft.)so the Cornbinder's waiting impatiently (me too!) Very nice truck!! Good job! I have a Jaguar 6 and an aluminum 215 Buick for it. I'm leaning toward the Jag, thought it would look "neat", but I got Chevys too, so I do a lot of "ruminating" Again, VERY NICE JOB!!!!!! You're my "Inspiration"
