Projects Many thanks

I know this is off topic and may get flamed, but, this has been my first year on this site and I just wanted to say thanks for all the help and comments that helped me through my projects. What a great resource this site has been for technical support and something to read when the weather outside gets untolerable.

I too owe a great debt of gratitude to those here on the HAMB who took the time to respond to my questions and dilemmas, what a great resource!

How dare you come on here and say nice things about the forum ? We have our standards to maintain, ya know !!

I too love this place, and it is more about the people who populate it than the cars. For example, I just got a new book as one of my Christmas gifts, and, last night, as I was doing some research in the bathroom, I came across a picture of a car once owned by one of the HAMB members that I really look up to. I remember being a younger guy and saying "WOW, what a great looking hot rod, some day that will be me !" Now, I am able to come on here and actually have conversations with guys like Dean Lowe, who have been my heros for decades.

There are so many heavy hitters on this forum who really know their s*** and who have done it all, and it is nice to rub elbows with them........it is nice to pick their brains and hear their stories.
