....."teary eyed??".......hell, it's 3am and I'm crying my ass off! Yea, I'll be a bitch. I have "issues."
Dave, I guess the last time you talked with your stepdad, HE was on "Death'sDoorStep?" Awesome story. My folks split up when I was 6 and everything automotive in my life has been a reflection of my love for my Dad. Guess you hit a nerve. Sharing the build has been fantastic. Sharing your "heart" is really something special. God bless you and have a blast at Cobo............

I was wondering what was driving you to get so much accomplished in so little time. I'm sure your Step Dad had alot to do with getting you through problems and giving you ideas throughout this project. Great story.
    Even greater rod.

Thanks everyone.................................................I am thinking the car needs a 2" haircut after looking at the pics, it may give the car some verticle balance, if their is such a thing......................Thanks again....Littleman Dave

OH NO! I like it ''AS IS'' and think the unchopped look gives the car alot of character! It is you car of course, but I would re-think the chop.

Actually I had the name for the car when I came up with the ideas and direction I was going to run with, you know that picture of the end product in your head..........I named it DeathsDoorStep, with the idea that everytime you found yourself staged and staring at the drag tree watching for that last yellow, and ya blast down, ya never know it could be the last time...........But in the end it ended up a duel meaning name.not planned, just worked out that way.........Littleman

  26. Sir,

I respect your right to do your car as you please, but your original vision is a winner, and whilst I love chopped coupes, I tend to think leaving it 'nose bleed high' suits it to the ground.

Cheers, and like everyone before me, well done,

    Drewfus:)

  27. It looks awesome - but a chop would certainly make it more KILLER - chop it some for sure - I don't mean 5 or 6 inches - just knock her down a bit. YOU HAVE TO.

littleman - the car you built is killer the wya it is. IMHO dont chop it, its unique the way it is - dont make it like every other coupe out there - dont follow the pack!
