I am new to the area and cannot seem to track down any swap meets in Colorado. I moved up from Texas and you can pretty much hit one up monthly, and smaller ones weekly. Anyone from Colorado know any Yearly swap meets, or local swap meets? Thanks, Trevor
Sabers Tri-State swap meet...the only one you need to know about...largest in the tri-state area...Feb.6 & 7 ...for more info go to: www.tristateswapmeet.com or call 303-428-6046. There used to be a Polar Bear swap meet, but I think that's gone now... R-
There is a swap meet in Canon City, just to the west of Pueblo in the Spring during their big car show...not sure of the exact date at the moment, but you can google it...it's not real big, but the car show is fun...lots of cars participate.....and don't forget the "Pikes Peak Motor company'' 'between' Canon City and Pueblo, on the highway 50, about 6-8 miles outside the city limit....they have a very nice group of knowledgeable people working (Joel in the parts dept. in particular)and lots of stuff fair-priced for antique cars, complete cars, engines, trim, and most anything.... and wrecking yard parts pre-1960....719-372-7762....just a couple of options for ya------Ray
Jan. 23 Annual Polar Bear Swap Meet, Adams County Fairgrounds, Exhibit Hall 9755 Henderson, Brighton CO. 7am to 6pm. Contact 719-265-1095 for more info!
There will be a lot of ads in mid January for all the swap meets. There is a few new ones, keep up with checking local parts stores. Thats where ads are mostly put up. The tri-state swap meet has gone to **** since 2010.
If you're looking for something particular. Post an ad on craigslist, there are a lot of hot rodders that browse it daily.
Thank you all for your replies, I appreciate it. I am going to be looking for a model a coupe or just a coupe body, in particular. Thanks
Coy's has a swap meet at Bandimere Speedway in spring and fall. Check out the dates on Bandimere website.
Get in touch with the local Model A clubs and see if they will put a wanted ad in their monthly newsletter (usually no cost since it benefits their members). You can find the national clubs at MAFCA.com and modelaford.org. Ask if they have a web site that contains a swap meet calendar. Ask if you can get on distribution for their newsletter (probably get free if they do it on line but they will probably want you to join if they have to mail a hard copy (you would be surprised how much it costs to copy and mail a newsletter).
