Customs 56 Chevy 265 cu in Tune Up Question Valve Lash

I set the Valve Lash on my 265 Chevy 2 barrel, Hydromatic. I loosened them up till they started clackin. Took the Clackin out and then I tightened them another Half Turn, Sound about right or not? Seems to run pretty good, and the idle is nice too Is that gonna fly ? Thanks,,, Stan

 

Sounds ok to me. I believe the factory recommended 3/4 turn but as long as you have some preload the lifters will adjust themselves.
