    I have an extra '62 Engine and or I have a '59 Bell-housing.. But they don't go together, I guess U know..

  4. Ive got a 55 GMC with a 287 stick. the 55 is just too rusty to be a viable fix. The 287 runs Ok but its tired and has considerable lifter noise and blow by. Rather than overhaul it. I would like to have a 59 389 and use the 55 GMC bell housing & flywheel and install it in a 66 GMC with a SM 420 trans. Ive got a tri power intake I was told is a 57 however the cast date code reads a 60. However it takes three small base carbs.
