I have decoded to run the Eddie Meyer intake on the flattie in my T. Does anyone other than Speedway sell it and hopefully for less? Thanks
Is it Don Orosco who's re-popping the Eddie Meyer stuff? Check Hemmings... Don't know if you'll find it any cheaper than Speedway though - they're the Wal-Mart of hot rod parts forcing their suppliers to lower their prices and/or having copies made elsewhere... I'm not bad-mouthing them as Speedy-Bill provides an invaluable service, just a business practice observation more than anything else...
Nope........unless you can find one on Epay that is mis-listed. Or, ask around your local "restorer" guys. You will be suprised to find out what they are hanging on their walls. My other suggestion is to post an add in the local "freebie" paper (thrifty nickle) with a looking for parts or Eddie Meyer stuff. You will be suprised at who will call. Chris Nelson Kansas
I bought an Orosco one....trust me you will not find one cheaper than the Speedway one.............BUT you will NOT find a nicer one than the Orosco!
thats not good, I was going to run the holley carbs. does anyone else have a difference of opinion on this. I thought they were interchangible as far as bolting on.
You have to call him and I dont have his # anymore but Google should bring it up. I paid over $1k several years ago! I had 94's on mine..............
Check out www.Lakeheaders.com for some way cool alternatives at a huge savings over an Eddie Meyer. He just made me a slingshot riser (remember the old edelbrock unit?) to fit the offy 4bbl manifold for my flattie. Call him any time he's a great guy. Tell him you heard it from Mark from M*** he'll get a kick out of that. Let me know what happens.
The reason I use Fenton Intakes, they do fit 94s. I was going to buy the same intake you are, and called Speedway.
