My name is Noel and I'm new to the message board. I have seen some helpful threads on google while investigating how to build a traditional style Model A roadster. I have done a 53 Ford Customline in the past and was in the process of building a 28 Model A closed cab pick up before a divorce forced me to sell it. The new project is a 1930 Mode A roadster. I'm just looking for guidance in options for the build. Thanks!!

I will try to post some pictures this weekend. I aquired the car from a family freind that had it in a garage in Northern CA since 1970. It is fairly complete, but my plan is to do it with out fenders, possibly channeled with a suicide front end ( cheaper to keep and re use the stock spring/axle). I have 40 spindles/hubs for the front and a 53 Mercury Flathead that I will be using. My plan is to use a T-5 but I am still looking for an 8" rearend or something with the right width. Still waiting on a ***le, but hopefully will have it in the next 30 days, I have been hesitant to spend any money until I have it in hand.
