should be ready for a test drive tommrow morning. all thats left is fill the trans fluid and run some pipe into the lakes pipes.

Fathack and Mercman came by tonight and really helped me get over that last hurdel. Kevin out lined the scallops in a nice gold color. while me and hack finished up the brakes and broke the nose cone off the starter when the engine kicked back when we were trying to fire it. weirdest thing ever!
then we found the weak link in the brake system when we were bleeding them. the damn rubber line in the rear sprung a leak! glad it happend in the garage. all in all a great productive day. she runs has brakes and will drive again tommrow. cant wait to see how the Saab rack feels. OK im off to bed ive been in the garage for 16 hours. i cant wait for autorama so i can relax:rolleyes: ill have new pics up tommrow i didnt get a chance to take any today we were to busey sorry.

After seeing the choices I had to work with, the gold tape stripes looked best against the green body & cream colored scallops. Red was a close second, but we decided to go with gold. Maybe next time, (if time wasn't so tight) we could do the stripes in PAINT...I did the best I could with the tape (the car body was COLD!) So I hope they last, Bry. If not, we'll give her a go with the alternative.

The car really looks like Bryan has spent a serious amount of time on it, and in light of the crunch he's faced to get this thing ready for Autorama, If you saw it before he started, and saw it now, you'd see what I mean. He's made some good progress. The mechanicals are impressive; too bad a crummy rubber brake line foiled his progress tonight...but it's gonna be low as hell.

That's awesome! I thought you were packing it in for the night after the brake line blew and I decided to hit the road.

That's cool for you- sticking to your plan to have it rolling soon...COOL! Again, congrats! It's all coming together now! :)
