Hi Guys and Gals. Just a quick line to say HI! I'm a UK engineer with an avid interest in older Mopar V8's. Engines I currently have are, 270 poly, 276 hemi, 291 hemi, 318 poly, 392 hemi, 426 hemi, along with a good stock of 'run of the mill',,, mills...273, 318, 360, 383, 400, 440 etc. There are a few more I would like to add to my collection. 354 hemi, 413 max-wedge so on... best wishes Jon the LiMeY.
Thanx for the replies. Some are in cars and most aren't. The rarest engine I have is a 69 440 Dyno engine from Weslake Engineering Kent UK. Fitted with a one off pair of 'OVAL-PORT-heads' from mother Mopar for Nascar use? 426 hemi is from a 69 hemi Roadrunner (that is currently lost.) 392 hemi is replacing a 291 in a 41 Willy's. I have two 440 cars a 69 Charger 500 and a 71 Gtx. The 318 Power-Poly will be going in my 64 D-200. Another 426 hemi is going in a 65 Coronet A990 clone. All in all a sample of a lifetimes collection of UK Mopar engines. Unfortunately the spe******t V8 machine shop here in Kent has now closed. I worked there for many years and purchased the Mopar stock from them. Hopefully some or all of the engines will find a home too... John aka LiMeY
Oval-Port 440 head as seen in Avatar! Open Chamber design as per 906's and heat crossover too. Was going to **** Landy's collection and now maybe Don Garlits? Complete Dyno 1969 engine from Weslake Engineering. Better design than the D5 hemi heads I'm told... LiMeY
