Take a look at Sanderson Headers. I recently got a set for my 32 with a Chevy crate engine. They hug the block just enough to clear the steering and the narrow frame.

They were great people to deal with and are also an alliance vendor.

SANDERSON HEADERS ...SUCK , big time.... the flanges don't clear the spark plugs to get a socket on them....they suggest some sort of expensive shorty plug...instead of correcting their improperly designed flange . You sure a "normal bock hugger (patriot) won't work?... hedman has that flat design aswell. Raw sandersons may work , so you can cut ,grind modify for plug clearance. Good luck

Patriot Block huggers should work perfect for you

Sanderson used to make a good set... "c3's" full length , more performance header.......the old ones were fine, I suspect new c3 header uses same flange as their blockhugger. PLUG PROBLEM... Beware

The car was my Fathers, he passed a few months back.
I am thinking of the inside the frame headers to clean up the look and give options for putting full fenders back on or hood with skirts.

Wow, that's gonna be a tight fit. I think you will need to modify that steering no matter what brand headers you choose.

I am thinking that as well.
Might just be easier to buy header I want and just re do steering shaft to fit them.

I have the same TCI Chassis with same style front suspension and am using Chevy Ram Horn turn back style exhaust manifolds.

You can snake the exhaust around the steering shaft, I am using a chevy '71-'72 van column which has more shaft at the end of the column which puts the end of the shaft lower. I do not have pics but worked all this out when I was figuring out the length of my steering column mount. You might have to move your alternator to the top of the engine though. Hope this helps also my car will have fenders.

    My condolences re. your Dad.
TCI used to sell a stage V chassis complete with SBC, headers, etc installed.
Since it's a TCI chassis (their engine and steering mounts), you may want to contact them/send pics to see what application they use for headers and if they think it will work with your column location.

My SBC / A stock frame setup cleared barely with blockhuggers. It's hard to tell by pics but you may or may not just survive. I have had two separate sets, steel and stainless in pic, and both sit similar in the hole. I have no clue of the manufacturer of either of them.
