Update time..... We mounted the roadster on our rotisserie and rolled the old girl on her side so we can work on the underside.

 

Great car! I'd try http://www.smsautofabrics.com to see if they can match the interior fabric.

 

Hows things progressing with the Hotrod Haroldd. Curious minds want to know...

 

I had to wait for this post to "like", I had a knot in my stomach waiting to read something like " and we are going to make a real traditional hot rod out of it. We are unchanneling it, throwing the cycle fenders in a dumpster, painting it black..."

Awesome rebuild. The old job obviously had some adhesion issues and could not be cl***ed as patina per se. So it is very timely for a restoration . Well strictly speaking I guess it's a refurbish job happening which is what it deserves.
You are sure doing it justice and preserving the memories it holds.
