Hello from wet South Carolina, I am new to the site and still pretty amateur to the whole "lets build a hot rod with my bare hands" scene....needless to say I know my way around mechanics, but its the finer things that stump me sometimes.. I am in the process of throwing money into a 1970 Ford Galaxie XL sportsroof..pretty good base..current money wasting stage is at the engine. 390fe..expect dumb questions and lots of satire.. hope you old farts can help me out.. oh I'm an Active Duty Air Force Dog, have been for 8 years now! I build up huge munitions for aircraft to dump on the bad guys HA! but seriously I'm an AMMO troop. Any on here one by chance?
Welcome to the HAMB. Your Galaxie is a cool car but this forum cuts off at 64ish so don't talk about the year. there are lots of FE guys here to help. Gary
I realized that shortly after....oopsies...but in my search for wisdom on the ole FE this site constantly came up so I figured it would just be easier to ask in person all my questions. I have a love for all the old steel!! so hopefully I'm not shunned lol
FE engines are my favorite . My son is in the army Ft. Bragg NC . Blows stuff up too . EOD . good luck on the build
