Don´t scare me about the doors! im not there yet. Yes that´s the plan. but things can happen on the way.... Thanks Kenneth, i think the Lincoln bumpers actually was made for the 36 Ford But one thing i don´t like about the 36 Roadster is the dash! and the fact that i did not have a stock roadster dash made this happen! A Packard 1941-42 dash (almost the same as 46-48) was located and of course it was way to big for the Ford But i think this will work!? early test fit Almost where it shall be
Although I am admittedly biased toward the stock '36 dash, some other early marques, like the Packard, look pretty good. One suggestion if it's not too late; try tilting the top slightly forward so the straight corners meld better with the curve of the cowl. (Or fab. your own corners to match)
Stunning work as usual. Must be zero humidity over there. Here in Brisbane anything in bare metal starts rusting overnight.
Love your roadster, I'm sure it will be stunning. I have one myself I'm building in a similar style, if you need any pics or patterns off any of the top opening area just ask, as it looks like your back half is from a coupe. also, I put new wood in my old 36 phaeton front doors and it wasn't that bad of a job, just don't glue it together as you cant adj. it with the strap later if you do. what you gonna do for taillights? cheers B
