Chalk one up for the Good Guys! It's great to see it back where it needs to be. Any word on the people that took it?

  4. Awesome.... I wonder if the crooks were feeling the heat from social media, etc.?

    That's great.
Details, details! How far from theft site? Any damage? Was it driven or towed? Found on public or private property?

Hope to hell they don't put that hot rod in another rental storage place. But this is great news that doesn't happen all of the time. And yes details please.

Here's two quotes from his Facebook about damage and what he plans too do with the car

Aside from no ignition switch and some very light damage to the trunk trying to get in it there's nothing wrong with it! I still can't believe it!

I know! I can't wait to start working on it! my whole perspective on how I'm gonnna build the car has changed and I'm gonna keep it very much like it is now except bring things up to date and get some more power out of it. Just clean it up but keep the styling the same or very close to what it is now.
Last quote update it a little bit more power we know how that goes [emoji15]

Awsome! glad I looked in on this one again!
Hopefully the owner finds the HAMB and can see keeping it pretty much like it is is the right idea!
Hopefully "more power" isn't something crazy like a LS swap or something! ;)

Well IMHO it is an awful looking piece of crap and should be replaced with a HAMB tag topper.
And should also be removed from your avatar.

I like it. I think we all have a little devil sitting on our shoulder from time to time. I know I sure do. He's just displaying his for all to see. There's nothing wrong with that.

It would be beyond kool if those sold for $6.66...

As to the safe return of the car? Awesome. I hope they don't get a plea bargain out of this deal. I'd bet your finned aluminum that not one of us here wouldn't like to see a message sent to future thieves with some form of mandatory sentence for stealing something unique (antique/muscle/classic cars). If there's "hate crimes" standards how about some similar/specific theft standards? Ok, that's my devil coming out...:D

I don't recall this thread being titled "Let's Hear What You Think About Other Peoples Avatar"

Good to hear the car was recovered!
