37-41 Ford spindles fit 30-31 A Front Axle?

    Will the '37-'41 Ford spindles and kingpins work on a stock 30-31 Ford A axle?
    If no has anybody made a 'conversion' to do so?

    All p***enger car (1928-48) and pickup(1928-47) spindles fit all 28-48 p***enger car front axles or 28-47 pickup front axles.
    Just use the correct king pin and bushing set for the spindles you have. If you don't like the brake cups on the 36 and earlier kingpins you can cut them off just above the flange and plug the kingpin or use either 37-41 or 42-48 kingpins depending on length and grind new locator slot using the old kingpin as a pattern.

    Ok, so the spindles will fit BUT...
    some say the spindle angle will be different? Is there truth to this??

    No. Lincoln is different - but all Ford will be the same.

    I know this is an older thread, but I was curious if anyone had actually done this?
