Yeah, that's a little rough. I'd say, based on the screws holding the patch panels on and the bolts holding the "repairs" to the cross member together, that someone has no metal fab skills at all. Wonder what other treasures it is hiding?
Ouch, that doesn't look good at all. I'm afraid if I - not being all the mechanically inclined - were to attempt a restoration, it might look as bad as that one, or probably worse! When done correctly they are beautiful cars. But ouch on this one.
Going to guess a significant other told the seller it has to go so it's advertised at a price no one would pay and the seller can still claim doing everything possible to sell it. To me it's about 9 bills over its worth. Not even fit for rat status but more of a roach. These are beautiful when done but who has that deep a pocket.
More like the poster accidently added a 9 in the price. That poor car is in bad shape, I'm sure there are some salvageable parts
Something is amiss, the seller got a hold of some bad dope and is having some serious hallucinations! ridiculous
Since I"m in Baltimore I had to check this out. You need to click on his other link and see the "woodie" Falcon/Ranchero he is also selling. Outrageous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but funny Oldmics
The convertible could be saved but a guy could find a car in better shape for that kind of money. HRP
