Ok since it's winter here, I have no car due to adopting 2 kids-best thing we have ever done!! But I have been thinking of something different, has anybody ever put the front sheet metal from a 59 Pontiac onto a 59 Chevy??? Both are beautiful cars on their own, but each has a sinister look-the bat nose off the poncho and the bat wings of the Chevy. Considering that these cars should be based off the same platform, and the bodies are similar, I would think it would make a very nasty, ***y lined car..... Does anybody know if this has ever been done before, or the better question is should it or can it be down without decades of fab??? Any ideas or opinions would be cool....

  2. I have not done it personally but I have seen it done more than once, supposed to be a pretty straight forward sheet metal swap.

It will be much easier if you use the sheet metal from the front of a Canadian Pontiac
because they are build on a Chevrolet frame/Platform!

^^^^^^ That thing is gorgeous! Hell, I even like the color on it and I hate baby blue on a car.

Hmm, looked pale blue with a bronze/copper nose. Regardless, I likes it!

Oh no, here we go. Is that the blue and black or white and gold dress colors?

yep, looks like a good change - now go out and find a project car & parts to do this. neither rides are common so, could be a challenge.
