Considering stainless door hinges on the highboy roadster. Speedway offers them specifically for the 28-29. Brookville shows the same number for all Model A years. Mac's shows 2 bolt lowers 28-29 and 3 bolt lowers 30-31. Appreciate information from anyone knowledgeable on using these hinges. Regards, Ron
I haven't seen the stainless hinges, but reproduction steel ones are not bent/wrapped as well as originals around the pin and they wobble. I'm using originals on my '30. Bob
28/29's are not interchangeable with 30/31's. There are also two styles of 1930. two hole and three hole. The early 30's had two hole hinges on the lower A pillar. I would determine what you have and look for a set of originals. They come up every now and then on Ebay.
here are the links to our 1928-29 & 1930-31 roadster door hinge sets, these are the correct replacement for the model A ford roadster bodies, like all reproduction parts there may be some adjusting to do since the bodies are all man made and each one can be a little different, the cost of the hinge kits are $ 140.00 , these are not available in stainless steel, only steel, let us know if you need any more information or would like to place an order. thanks Rick Johnson Customer Service
