    Hello All,
Finally getting COE back together after a long road of restoration/paint etc. and looking for source for window channels, rubber door bumpers, gl*** rubber seals, front window frame or trim and/or along with several other little items...I thought Drake, Macs or Dennis Carpenter would have such items but have not had much luck. Would anyone have any sources for these type of items? I also need top of grill trim and side vent door Ford emblems. Thanks, Fabmancoe

Drake had one built by Roger Simminotii in Portland, Oregon. Ask to talk to Bob at Drake's business. Refresh his memory..

My side window kit came from Wescott's. I think the windshield seal was available from Wescotts and Northern Cl***ic.

Thanks guys, I will check with Bob at Drake's and had not though about Wescotts or Northern cl***ic and have bought from both of the for my 40 ford PU project. I appreciate the info...
This COE has been a long project and this little stuff will eat you up...seems like the major tasks are often easier.
As I get closer to completing this truck I am starting to understand why these completed trucks sell for 40-80K, plus the commitment, self discipline plus a hell of a bunch of time...good thing we do this just for fun!

No I don't, Just a few pics from earlier in the process on my profile page...I will try to load some current pics.
Also FYI Bob Drake only carries window channel kits for doors at this time... all other COE parts are discontinued. I guess from lack of sales. Found front window seals at Northern cl***ic.
    Thanks for the info

No kidding... Not 1 trailer with FOUR COE's but 2 of them... Very nice..

What's the story on the 4 door 1940. Was that built specifically for "Northwestern Public Service Co" by Ford or did Ford manufacture those for general sales?

From what I have gathered very few crewcabs were built in that vintage of Fords...somewhere around 9 trucks with some going to the military and the balance to utility company. I was happy to get exposed to it but paid too much for it and to boot someone tried to cross breed it with a buick wildcat. It has the back window gl*** from buick and had the Buick front end glued on the front with the two bumpers mounted on front and the buick V8 with auto. driving into the stock transmission in the truck...Some people should just be sterilized for doing this sort of thing...anyways, I think I have enough donor cabs/parts to bring it back. Looking forward to the project when I get some other things completed
