Hot Rods Help identify - headlight bucket

Guy gave me a headlight bucket, but didn't know what it came off of. I'm stumped. It's about 9-3/4" long, 7-1/8" opening in front, approx 8" in diameter. The offset of the holes to the mount makes me think it's probably right or left side specific. No names stamped anywhere on it. Does it look familiar to anyone?

 

Looks a lot like 1936 Dodge with the rim trim removed, to me....

 

Hard to tell from pictures, but the Dodge looks narrower, more pointed. This one is pretty short and fat. I can rule out '38 Chevy. Had one of those, it's longer.

 

If you only have one it might make a neat gage pod / windscreen as used on my RPU:

MY FRIENDS MADE AN URN TO HOLD OUR FRIENDS ASHES from a long narrow headlight bucket, pinstriped, chrome trim and really really neat.

 

No other guesses? Surely someone has seen this before.....
