I joined when Shorty Dilliard was gonna sell me his '54...then changed his mind. I haven't posted though. Still hoping to pick up a '54 someday.

Thanks Danny. The club is 30 years old this year.

Dues are very low....$20/year. It goes toward keeping the website/forum up and running, publishing a quarterly newsletter and more. The club has also successfully lobbied the parts vendors to carry more parts for 50's Ford cars.

Not to hijack the thread, but what's the second car in your avatar? I can just see enough to cause confusion between it being a Volvo or a Willy's, probably not either, lol.

^^^It's a '47 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible. Wife says it belongs to her. It's mostly all original except for the 12v conversion and a Holley 4 barrel on a .030 over flatty.

I wanted to have mine ready for the get-together in Calif. a few years back. Also wanted it done for this year's meet. Probably isn't gonna happen again.

Don (rustyfords) is now the president of the '54 Ford Club of America and at one time was the youngest member of the club.

I am the Administrator over on the club website. HRP
