Anyone have a link on the above. I want to replace my beaten up 3-speed colum.Car is a automatic now..
Any factory O.E.M. or aftermarket units that will fit easily and be more wire-freindly?
    Thanks.

Are you staying with the automatic ? Will you want column or go floor shift ? Need a little more info.

Yes , Jeff staying with the FMX automatic. Using a Mustang/Pinto floor shift. Plan on keeping the floor shift.
    Thanks.

You have probably seen new columns on ebay that are a copy of the "ididit" columns stay far,far away from them there are horror stories on the main board and other forums of them breaking internally due to plastic parts and folks suddenly having no steering. Here is the real deal and they have added columns for Fords all USA made. http://www.ididitinc.com/ Here is another link that may help you if you go shopping in the salvage yards,up until the mid 60's fords had the "deadly spear" so this same guide will apply to you as well. http://www.fordfalcon2000.com/restoration/tiltcolumn.htm

If you are keeping it on the floor why change the column ? If you don't want the old shift lever and rod cut if off and remove it which is what I did,I have a B&M shifter with my AOD.
