Those little pics don't do it justice. That car is and is going to be one of the sweetest cars on the HAMB, or any where for that matter. Nice work Flip.

I've had the car for a few years and decided that it was time to pull it out of the shed otherwise I would get side tracked on sumthin' else. Tried to trade it for a coupe but everything fell through so that meant I had to build it.

The body was "assembled" before patch panels so it is made up from quite a few cars but still purdy cool, as with history, I don't really know anything? It came from a basement in Oakland and before that I have no clue.

It is low as you can tell and it is getting a full cage at this time and I am going to put a tanaue cover on after that so it will have a super salt flats vibe. It has a really warm 283, m-21, quckchange set up so it should haul as good as it looks. I will actually..... prob. do the SFRA 150 club B.S. just for fun then just drive the shit out of it. If I know myself the car will only remain in my possesion for awhile cuz I like to not fall in love, unless it is my 33 and we have a special realationship.

Do I do a chopped wind shield or just a small knuckle guard? I am leaning toward just the guard.

I'd do a real short well raked windshield.
Looks like it'll be a killer car. I can't tell from the real small pictures...but is it a highboy? Looks LOW.

I think it looks great. What's the deal, do you mean "cage" like the roll bar on a lifted toyota truck?

I'd leave the windshield off. It would look badass and screw all of the "no one would have driven it like that on the street back in the day" talk.

My car has always been 'shield-less because it looked best that way. I finally added some short little guards toward the end of last year to kick some of the wind and highway grime over my head, but I'll never have a full on windshield on that car. (the modified roadster)

Looking forward to seeing more pictures. The stance and cowl hoop look badass.

  18. Cool find. If you expect to get rid of it, I'd lay the windshield back, mild chop.

Well I have a 3" chopped windshield off of a friends car that I was going to run but they look so wicked without the wind shield. My 30 roadster was so chaneled that your head was above the windshield anyway?

This car is low but hi-boy, so I can have some room inside cuz I am kina big.

The cage is going to be more kin to a modern race car than an older one, so it will be funny car style with out the tall awkwardness that too many cars (even lakes cars) have. Since I don't really give too squirts about "you drive that on the street" it will be different.
