There is nothing wrong with blue. That dig was for the "Car Doctor". He is "Mr. Blue".
And yes I agree with you on the older color thing.

Well I finally have the sanding done. Blew out and pressure washed down the walls, floor and everything to be ready for paint next weekend. A hell of a lot of hard work. Just hope it turns out nice..... IMG_20151226_130152.jpg

After months of trying to decide on a color for the sedan we have made a decision to go with "1940 Ford Garnet Maroon just like the car I'm posting. Planning to paint next weekend and will post some pics when done.

So folkstone grey, doeskin and now Garnet maroon. I see you have just as much of a problem picking colors as I did on my sedan. I went thru tons of spray outs before I picked my color.

I stand corrected. The color is actually Rolls Royce "Claret" not that it matters....

Well the "Blizzard of 2016" didn't stop me today. We got the sedan painted and I'm super pleased with the outcome. I guess all the hours of prep and sanding have paid off. 14. Wow, the color looks great.
Nice work, can't wait to see it all back together.
An off white firewall would look nice with the new color.

Looks great Mark, I really like the color. You made a good choice! Bet you can't wait to get it all together now and drive it again. Nobody in the club will reconize it.

We had about 10" of snow where I live but just 45 miles north west where my car is at we only had about 2" of snow. Great day for painting..... I guess its all about location. LOL...

The firewall will not be white. If anything it was going to be Black. However I think it looks great just the way it is..

Got the new roof on and have it back on the ch***is for the final time. Still have to finish the roof trim and such but it's finally starting to look like a hot rod again.... IMG_1318.JPG IMG_1319.JPG IMG_1316.JPG
